DESCRIPTION

Computer Applications refers to subjects related to Computing Technology, Networking, Software, the Internet, or people who work with these technologies. Many companies now have IT departments for managing the computer networks, and other technical areas of their businesses. IT jobs include computer programming jobs, network administration jobs, computer engineering jobs, Web development jobs, technical support jobs, and many other related occupations.
IT and Computers is the fastest growing segment of Indian industry. In recent times, software development and IT enabled services have emerged as a winning opportunity for India in the global context.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

All the basic languages like C, C++, Java will be taught with concepts like Database, Data Structures, Algorithms, Networking, Operating Systems, etc.

ELIGIBILITY

Class XII (Any stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects) with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION

Each semester has a practical & viva-voce for 100 marks. The project work in Semester VI carries 400 marks.
