1- Applied Economics2- Commerce (Pure)

INTRODUCTION

  • To provide high quality and in-depth understanding of core as well as new areas in applied economics.
  • To enable students to be well versed in the traditional, modern and emerging trends in the discipline.
  • To acquaint students with knowledge and skills on core subjects like Economic Development and Planning, Advance Economic Analysis, Advance Macroeconomics, Industrial Economics Public Economic and Policy, Public Utility Economics, Applied Business Statistics, Rural Economics etc.
  • To imbibe expertise in understanding and managing various dimensions related to International Trade, Foreign Exchange Management, Law & Practice of Banking, Personal Finance Decisions etc.
  • To Impart education on new disciplines such as Accounting for Financial Decisions, Quantative techniques for business decisions and computer Applications.
  • ELIGIBILITY

    A Three/four year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in B.com/B.com (Hons) B.B.A/B.A with economics awarded by a University or Institute established as per law and recognized as equivalent by this University with minimum: General/OBC 45%, SC/ST 40% marks or equivalent grade, shall constitute the minimum requirement for admission to the Master in Applied Economics programme.

  • 2- COMMERCE (PURE)

    INTRODUCTION

  • To acquaint students in the conventional as well as contemporary areas in the discipline of commerce.
  • To enable students to be well versed with national as well as international trends in business.
  • To enable students to understand accounting and auditing practices, marketing environment, human resource development, taxation rules, role of regulatory bodies in the corporate and financial sectors, nature of financial instruments and markets customer relationship management and business ethics.
  • To provide in depth- knowledge of all core area specifically Accounting & Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management.
  • ELIGIBILITY

    A three/four-year Bachelors Degree or equivalent in B.com, B.com (Hons) awarded by the University or institute as per law and recognized as equivalent by this University with minimum 45% percentage marks or equivalent grade, shall constitute the minimum requirement for admission to the Master in commerce programme.
